We’re excited to share a new update from Bitfan.
Translation feature added to Group Chat!
As of March 2026, the Bitfan app is available for download in 55 countries and regions worldwide.
As a result, a wide variety of languages are used in group chat posts.
Until now, there was no built-in translation feature in the app, which meant you had to copy messages and paste them into external translation tools each time — we understand this may have caused inconvenience.
Now, the long-awaited translation feature has finally been added to Group Chat!
This feature was previously released on a limited number of sites as an early rollout, but it is now available on all sites.
If the site’s language setting differs from your app’s language setting, a “Translate” button will appear next to the post.
(Alternatively, you can long-press a post and select “Translate.”)
When you tap the Translate button…
The post will be translated according to your app’s language settings!
*The Translate button will not appear for posts that cannot be translated, such as image-only posts, emoji-only posts, or heart reactions without comments.
*As translations are generated automatically by the system, proper nouns and certain expressions may not always be translated accurately.
